簡述:

這首歌原作者是法國歌手Jacques Brel，
1961年他罹患癌症，
臨終前寫下這法文原曲名為 Le moribond的歌
(中譯為"臨終的人")
獻給他的爸爸、摯友以及妻子。
他美國友人Rod MaKuen翻成英文，
曲名為" Seasons in the sun "流傳到美國。
多方流傳後於1974 年由 Terry Jacks 演唱
在英、美兩地都登上排行冠軍並風靡全球。
這首歌於1985年左右曾改編為中文歌曲
歌名為"擇情",由徐乃麟與羅吉鎮合唱
並成為知名軟片的廣告歌曲喔

進入廿一世紀以後，英國的偶像團體西城男孩合唱團(Westlife)曾翻唱這首歌，味道相去不遠，
將這首經典老歌再度介紹給了全世界的年輕歌迷。
